Here is some information about the group along with the results of the patient survey that the group commissioned. The group also suggested that we produce a handy "top tips" sheet that can be downloaded here. . NEW - Electronic Prescriptions The practice and most local pharmacies are now fully using the new NHS Electronic Prescribing Service. The system allows your prescription to be sent electronically to a pharmacy of your choice as soon as it has been issued by us. The new system will be easier for patients and pharmacies as well as for ourselves as it will no longer be necessary to take a paper prescription to the pharmacy to get your medicines dispensed. In some circumstances, we may be able to authorize the pharmacy to manage stable repeat prescriptions for up to six months without the need to order from us in the meantime. In order to use the new service, you need to agree with your preferred pharmacy that they can receive your prescriptions directly. The pharmacy will switch on the service for you and from then on prescriptions will be sent to them unless you advise us differently. You can still obtain a paper prescription if you need one and let us know at the time of ordering and you can change your preferred pharmacy at any time. Ask at your pharmacy next time you are in. We have designed this website to be both a source of information about the practice and the services that it offers, and also to to allow you to communicate with the practice, via the internet 24 hours per day. We have an Online Repeat Prescription Ordering System. Of course you may still order repeat prescriptions in the usual way.
